The trek is in the northeastern part of Nepal, close to the Indian and Tibet border, and is known for its magnificent views of the mountains, as well as its natural and cultural diversity.

The Trek to Kanchanjunga Base Camp starts from the town of Taplejung and it takes 22 days to complete. The first part of the trek takes you through lush forests and terraced fields, where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife and interact with local communities. The trail then becomes steeper and more strenuous as you enter the high mountains, but the views of the Himalayas, including Kanchanjunga (8586m), Makalu (8481m), and Everest (8848m), make it worth the effort.
