Yes, we highly recommended getting travel insurance which must cover medical, and emergency returns inclusive of helicopter rescue expenses at high-altitude treks while traveling in Nepal. And should be provided to us before your trip departure.
Do I need to vaccinate to travel to Nepal?
Yes, you need to show a full dose of vaccination certificate against COVID-19, completed at least 14 days prior to entering Nepal.
What are the entire requirements and Covid restrictions in Nepal?
If you are not being fully vaccinated or have not completed a full dose of vaccination at least 14 days prior to arriving in Nepal, a COVID-19 test report (RT-PCR, Gene Expert, True NAAT, or WHO accredited test) showing negative result done within the last 72 hours of boarding from the first airport or, if you are entering through the land border, done within 72 hours of entry.
This provision will not be applicable to children under 5 years.
