The 6 Days Wildlife Safari Tour takes you to the Bardiya National Park- the largest and the most undisturbed national park of Nepal's Terai. It is a short trip perfect for people who are looking for a jungle adventure in the verdant woodlands of Nepal, home to a myriad of animal and bird species.
The Wildlife Safari Tour begins with an Everest Mountain Flight, which presents you with the chance to enjoy aerial views of the Sagarmatha Peak and many of its neighboring Himalayas in Khumbu. It is among the most thrilling adventures in Nepal where the bird's-eye view of the ivory peaks is presented in the most breath-taking manner.
Furthermore, the trip also includes a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city's major UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Built and ornamented with traditional Newa art and architecture, the heritage sites hold special historical and religious reverence, providing insight into the country's glorious past.
Finally, the trip then takes you to Nepalgunj, from where you will drive to the Bardiya National Park. You may arrive in Kathmandu at any time. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by one of our airport representatives. He will help you get transferred to your hotel. There are no planned activities for the day, thus you may check into your hotel and relax. You will also be briefed about the upcoming trip by your guide. Overnights stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.
Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the airport, from where you will board a helicopter that will fly you over the Kathmandu valley and Khumbu’s landscape towards the Himalayas of Everest. It is a thrilling ride that presents your aerial views of the ivory Everest Peaks. After the ride, back to Kathmandu, you will then have a guided sightseeing tour of the city's major UNESCO World Heritage Site. They include the Pashupatinath Tempe, the Bouddhanath Stupa, the Kathmandu Durbar Square, and the Swayambhunath Temple. Overnights stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.
You will be taken to the airport once again for your flight to Nepalgunj. It takes about 30 minutes to reach Nepalgunj. Once there, you will then begin your drive to Bardiya National Park, located along the eastern banks of the Karnali River. Upon reaching your hotel at the park, you can relax and enjoy the Tharu Cultural Show that the park presents to its visitors in the evening. The cultural show presents folk dances and traditional costumes. Overnights stay at the hotel.
This day is filled with fun park activities. You will spend the day following the park ranger as he takes you deep into the deciduous woodlands where you can observe animals like the Royal Bengal Tiger and Wild Deer in their natural habitat. The riverine forests of the park are home to a myriad of birds as well. You can enjoy the peal of various jungle fowls and colorful winged critters in the park. At the end of the day, you can also pay a visit to the Crocodile Breeding Center where you can learn about how the park is trying to safe keep the endangered amphibians. Overnights stay at the hotel.
You will bid the forests and animals goodbye today and have a drive back to Nepalgunj. From there, you will catch your flight back to the city. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your Hotel. Overnights stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.
Approximately three hours before your scheduled flight, you will be taken to the airport for your departure.
