Five Star Service- Best Guide 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I highly recommend Green Society Adventure to take care of all of your Nepal trip details and guide you into the mountains. I was travelling as solo female and I felt very safe and comfortable and always well taken care of. From the airport to airport everything was amazingly well thought out and executed. I can’t wait to come back and bring a group. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my business. I had such a good time in the mountains and the historic sites of Nepal. Thank you so much Raj. Anyone would be lucky and blessed to have you as their guide in Nepal.

Checklist: What Should You Pack for the Poon Hill Trek?

Preparation is essential when you book the 3-day hiking to Poonhill Trek. For easy and comfortable travel, do get prepared as early as you can. Some of the equipment can hire when you arrive here just before the trip starting date. So, keep in mind that you don’t have to buy all the equipment, which is very expensive and not usable after the Poonhill Trek.

Basically, you need a comfortably fitted day backpack since you are carrying it every 4-5 hours. Make sure your backpack is waterproof, or it has a special cover. Check the trekking equipment list and pick up all the essential needs for yourself. And if you need to discuss more the equipment, please feel free to ask us.

How to Prepare Yourself for the Trip to Poon Hill Trekking

On this Ghorepani Poon hill trek, you will have to walk on up and down on an uneven trail every day with your 4-5 kilos load day backpack. So, start building yourself to make your trip to the mountains easier. A month before the trip start, plan for 4-5 days of training a week. The more you do exercise your legs and muscle get stronger.

At the same time, mental preparation is a very important part of the trip. And prepare yourself for basic conditions and rapidly changing weather as well.

Best Time for Poon Hill Trek

Basically, there are two best seasons for the short Poonhill trek. One is from March to May, at this time weather normally gets clear and the view of the Mountains is breathtaking. And this is the blooming time of Rhododendron if you love flowers then the mesmerizing colorful forest steals your heart. Temperature (30 °C to 5°C) during this season is pretty much warm.

September to November is another best time for the Poon hill trek. During this time, we can expect some rain and snow, but the weather normally gets clear & cooler, and the view of the mountains is amazing.

Drinking Water

Drinking enough purified water and keeping your body dihydride is very important while you are on the Ghorapani Pooh hill trek. During the journey, one should drink 3-4 liters of water every day.

On this trek buying bottled water is not available. Water bottle adds up to the thrashing problem in the mountain, so people avoid bottled water and they offer boiled purified drinking water at lodges at additional cost. It cost anywhere between $1 to $3 dollar.

We highly recommend carrying a reusable water bottle with you. You can fill the water bottle in lodges, or one can use an inbuilt filtration system like Life Straw or Steripen. You can also use water purification tablets to treat the water.

Internet and Phone Connectivity Long the Poon Hill Trek

Even in this high mountain land phone & internet connection (though unpredictable and irregular in some places) is available.

You can connect with your loved ones while trekking in Annapurna Nepal, Check your important information, and upload pictures on social media. Wi-fi is available at all teahouses along the trekking route to Poonhill. Normally you must pay an extra charge for using their Wi-Fi hotspot.
