    Useful Information

    Everest Base Camp Trek Difficulty

The Everest base camp luxury trek involves a long and challenging hike to high altitudes and requires good physical condition as well as mental preparation. The Everest trekking trail is physically demanding, with many steep and rocky sections, and can be affected by weather conditions such as rain and snow.

However, the Everest luxury trek typically provides better facilities and support, which can make the journey easier and more comfortable.

Note: The luxury Everest base camp trek may have fewer challenges, but it is still a demanding trek and requires proper preparation, fitness, and acclimatization.

    Nepal Visa

Travelers can get an arrival VISA at Kathmandu which costs 25 USD for 15 days and USD 40 for 30 days. And for the arrival Visa please bring two passport-sized photos.

    Drinking Water During Everest Trek

Mineral/ Safe drinking water in bottles is available everywhere in Everest and it cost from $1 to $5. But water bottles add up to the thrashing problem in mountains, so we highly recommend carrying a reusable water bottle with you.

You can fill the water bottle in lodges and can use an inbuilt filtration system like Life Straw or Steripen. You can also use water purification tablets to treat the water. also, you can carry water bottles which you can fill if you find any drinking water taps.

Room and Accommodation During the Trek

All Accommodation during the Everest base camp luxury trek is on a twin sharing bed. We will be providing a luxury lodge stay for 4 nights and the best available teahouse for the other nights. You can also choose to have a single bed, but the additional cost will be added to your trip cost.

    Payment and Trek Booking

To confirm a booking, you need to pay 20% of the total trip cost in advance. The remaining balance can be paid upon arrival in Kathmandu. To book the trip, please use the "CHECK AVAILABILITY" tab to make an instant confirmation booking.

Take Enough Cash with You While Trekking

We suggest you carry enough cash (at least $20-25 for a day) with you for personal expenses and emergency uses. Normally, you can exchange and use an ATM to get cash in some places in the mountains as well, but the exchange rate is lower than in Kathmandu and the service charge is high (up to 10%) for using Card.

    Altitude Sickness & Acclimatization

The height level that we gained during the Everest luxury trek is over 5000 meters. At each height, you pick up the oxygen level is gotten low. Less oxygen within the climate may make trouble a bit for breathing. Quick walking without appropriate rest and acclimatization increases the chances of AMS or elevation affliction. To acclimatize your body to thin air, you wish to walk gradually and relentlessly with a bounty of rest and keep your body hydrated to avoid altitude sickness.

    Insurance

It is very important to be safe and healthy while you are hiking to the world’s highest mountain base camp. We continuously suggest you walk slowly and steadily with plenty of rest. We highly recommend making insurance for the insured a comprehensive expense that might gain due to medical issues or accidents. We do not provide or sell travel insurance but are happy to provide recommendations if needed.
