The place is the hidden treasure as described by its name Tsum which means hidden basin. Follow the trail accompanying glacial river Budigandaki and traverse around green lush Valley of ancient significance. However, the 2015 earthquake tolled lots of lives and properties in the area. Therefore, your trekking in Manaslu region could be assistance for locals to rise again.

Tsum Valley Trek starts similar to Manaslu Circuit Trek. Bus drive from Kathmandu Valley towards Dhadingbeshi in blacktopped and rest of the journey towards Sotikhola is through the hilly postal graveled road trip. Walking starts from the bank of the glacial Budi Gandaki River towards Machhakhola. The highlight of this trip is the green lush valley, mountain vistas, rivers, rural villages, and waterfalls. Once trekkers traverse suspension bridges and terraced farmlands wide valley of Tsum appears.

The region was known for serenity and sacredness. Lots of wildlife and people used to come to this place for shelter during famine or wars. The place is also termed as the mini Tibet because of the lifestyle of people and their way of living. The 2015 earthquake damaged lots of property and corroded the whole atmosphere. The people of Tsum need motivation and inspiration. Your mere visit to this place will act as a supportive tool for people to rise again. Once you complete this joyous trekking in Nepal you can extend your journey towards Larke La Pass for Manaslu Circuit Trek otherwise you can return back to Kathmandu via the same route.
