Today, you will have a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city's major UNESCO World Heritage Site. They include the holy Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the Bouddhanath Stupa, the Swayambhunath Temple and the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Each site presents a good insight into Neal's historical and religious context, as well as showcases ancient Newari architecture on the old buildings and temples. Today, you will be driven to the cities of Patan and Bhaktapur where you will have a tour of the Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar Squares. Today, you will have a sightseeing tour of Lumbini. You will visit the Mayadevi Temple, as well as see the Ashoka Pillar and the archeological dig site of Lumbini's ancient palace. Lumbini also has a myriad of uniquely-built monasteries, each with different architecture based on the country-of-origin. You can also visit Lumbini's, Pushkarini Pond. After the tour, you will have a drive back to Bhairahawa and take a flight to Pokhara. Upon landing at the lake-side city, you will be transferred to your Hotel. Early in the morning, you will be taken to the airport once again, from where you will board a helicopter that will fly you over the Annapurna valley and the Annapurna Mountains towards the Annapurna Base Camp. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying the city's many attractions, like Davi's Fall, the Mahendra Cave, the World Peace Pagoda and the Tal Barahi Temple among others. From Pokhara, you will bid the mountains goodbye and drive towards the Chitwan National Park. The drive runs alongside the river and past the ravines and gorges towards the wetlands of Chitwan.
