Short Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1320m/ 4329ft)

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu city.

Day 3: Drive to Syabru Bensi (1550m/5100ft) 145km, 6 hours.

Day 4: Trek Syabrubesi to – Gatlang (2,200m/7,217ft.), 5 hours.

Day 5: Trek Gatlang to Tatopani (2607m/8550ft), 6-7 hours.

Day 6: Trek Tatopani to Thuman (2340m7675ft), 6 hours.

Day 7: Trek Thuman to Briddim (2335m/7560ft), 5-6 hours.

Day 8: Trek Briddim to Rimche (2445m/8020ft) 6 hrs.

Day 9: Trek to Langtang village (3430m/11250ft) 6 hours.

Day 10: Trek to Kyanjin Gumba (2845m/12611ft) 3 hours.

Day 11: Early morning hike to Kyanjin ri (4773m/15655ft) and trek back to Ghodatabela (3030m/9938ft) 6-7 hours.

Day 12: Trek back to Syabru Bensi. 7 hours.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 14: Final departure from Nepal.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1320m/ 4329ft)

Soon after your flight lands at Kathmandu (Tribhuvan International airport), you will be greeted with warm welcome by GSA representative after you being encountered with Display card s/he will be displaying on your arrival. You will be then transferred to the hotel in our private tourist vehicle.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu city.

After early morning breakfast, the second day is planned for your amazing historical and cultural tour around capital city Kathmandu. The English speaking tour guide will be your companion ( can be provided any language speaking guide) to let you experience our vivid culture image and local life style while visiting the major temples Swayambhunath (Monkey temple), Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath stupa and best of all the majestic historical place Kathmandu durbar square. At the noon, when your tour gets over, we’ll have a pre-trip discussion and the trek discussion with the trek leader along with other team member will meet you and briefs you regarding trek.

Day 3: Drive to Syabru Bensi (1550m/5100ft) 145km, 6 hours.

Today we take a Drive to our trekking start point Syabru Bensi which takes about Six hours drive by private Jeep. Along the way to Syabru Bensi we can enjoy the Mountains view, Green hill and people lifestyle that live in country side. After a lunch in Trishuli Bazar, we continue drive to Dhunche. From Dhunche, we descent down to Syabrubesi. Overnight night Syabru Bensi, (B, L, D).

Day 4: Trek Syabrubesi to – Gatlang (2,200m/7,217ft.), 5 hours.

Today we start our hike from Syabru Bensi, ascend all the way to the village Goljung. After a two hours climb the trail goes more gradual, following the newly open road way. Enjoy the views of Ganesh Himal, Shishapangma, Langtang Lirung and many other Mountains. Gatlang is a small settlement of Tamang People with the Traditional stone houses. Overnight in Gatlang, (B,L, D).

Day 5: Trek Gatlang to Tatopani (2607m/8550ft), 6-7 hours.

After a breakfast we start our trek with a descend to Thangbuchet. We walk along the beautiful farm terrace with the amazing view of landscape. Cross the suspension bridge over Bhotakoshi River, we ascend the trail until we reach Tatopani. Tatopani literally means ‘hot water’ in Nepali owing to the natural hot springs there. After a short rest in teahouse, we better to take a dip into the natural hot water to relax your tired muscles. Overnight in Teahouse, (B, L, D).

Day 6: Trek Tatopani to Thuman (2340m7675ft), 6 hours.

Today we begin our trek to Thuman, Walking through the dense alpine forest we will be at the small Tamang settlement Brimdang. Today we trek from Tatopani to Thuman via Brimdang and Nagthali. Passing through the dense alpine forest, we reach the small Tamang settlement of Brimdang. Over an hours ascend we will reach Nagthali a mesmerizing view point from where we can see Langtang, Sanjen, Kerung and Ganesh Himalayan range. Trek downhill to Thuman is easier than our last climb but the path is not well constructed so we better to walk slow and steady. Overnight in Thuman, (b,L, D).

Day 7: Trek Thuman to Briddim (2335m/7560ft), 5-6 hours.

Today we start trek with descend to Bhotekoshi river. Cross over the suspension bridge we climb all the way uphill to Briddim. Along the way we pass small village and Teahouse, after an hour climb we stop for rest and we will take a lunch. Briddim is a Tibetan Buddhist village on lap of Langtang Himal, inhabited mostly by Tamang People. In the evening we visit the Dukchu Gomba monastery. Overnight in teahouse, (B, L, D).

Day 8: Trek Briddim to Rimche (2445m/8020ft) 6 hrs.

After a morning breakfast we begin our trek to Rimche. Today, the trekking duration is long but most of the trail is gradual. Passing through the alpine forest and village we will also enjoy the view of Ganesh Himal and beautiful Landscape with farm terrace. After a lunch break in Sherpa village, we continue our trek to Rimche. Overnight in teahouse, (B, L, D).

Day 9: Trek to Langtang village (3430m/11250ft) 6 hours.

After a morning breakfast we begin out trek through the dense forest along the Langtang Khola. Over six hundred meters ascend we will reach to Ghoda Tabela. The valley is more open and wide, we can see the beautiful view of Mt. Langtang Lirung and green valley with many water falls. We continue our hike Pass by water mills, prayer wheels, chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them. Overnight in Langtang Village, (B, L, D).

Day 10: Trek to Kyanjin Gumba (2845m/12611ft) 3 hours.

Today is a shorter hike and the trail will be easier but Altitude may affect you, slow walk is recommended for acclimatization. Pass on through yak pastures, the largest Mani wall, made from stone with prayers written on them. Walking along the Langtang valley with a scenic view of Himalaya, trek will be more interesting when we reach Kyanjing , the beauty valley with many tiny flowers Where we can find cheese factory, and bakery as well. Overnight in teahouse, (B, L, D).

Day 11: Early morning hike to Kyanjin ri (4773m/15655ft) and trek back to Ghodatabela (3030m/9938ft) 6-7 hours.

Today we wake up early and hike up to Kyanjin- ri to see the aesthetic views of Himalayas and beauty Langtang valley. After a breakfast we start our trek to Ghoda Tabela, the trail mostly gradual down and feel easy to walk. Overnight in Ghoda Tabela, (B, L, D).

Day 12: Trek back to Syabru Bensi. 7 hours.

Today is our last day of our trek. Way down is more easy and warm but we better to be more care and steady walk. After seven hours long trek, we will be in Syabru Bensi. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu.

After five days long trek in Langtang valley, today we drive back to Kathmandu. This takes six hour by private jeep. We end our Adventure with a farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu, include (B, D)

Day 14: Final departure from Nepal.

Today the journey along the Nepalese Himalayan comes to an end. We will arrange airport transports that are leaving Nepal.
