Gosaikunda & Langtang trek is full of fun and makes you fresh in your every exploration. Gosaikunda is situated at the altitude of 4380m to the north of Kathmandu on the Langtang trekking trail. It is best done after some acclimatizing in Langtang or Helambu from either Dhunche or Syabru, trails ascend steeply through mossy rhodendron forest to the monastery and cheese factory of Sing Gompa. During this adventurous trekking days, you will also get chance to experience  Langtang National park, Kyangring ri which is consider the best part among whole trekking since it includes main spot for the aesthetic view of Himalayan ranges like Langtang luring, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal and many other stunning small peaks.Further, Gosaikunda is also equally popular for another significant pilgrimage site. Mainly there are three – Saraswatikund, Bhairabkunda, Gosainkunda Kunda (Lake), which also carries great important to Hindu pilgrims. It is believe that Lord Shiva created the Gosaikunda with his trident while thrusting it into a mountain to extract water so that he could cool his stinging throat after he had swallowed poison. There is a large rock in the center of the lake, which is said to be the remains of a Shiva shrine. People often claim that they see Shiva lying in the water. it is also claimed that a channel carries water from the lake directly to the tank at the Kumbeshwer Temple in Patan.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1320m/ 4329ft).

Soon after your flight lands at Kathmandu (Tribhuvan International airport), you will be greeted with warm welcome by GSA representative after you being encountered with Display card s/he will be displaying on your arrival. You will be then transferred to the hotel in our private tourist vehicle.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu city

After early morning breakfast, the second day is planned for your amazing historical and cultural tour around capital city Kathmandu. The English speaking tour guide will be your companion ( can be provided any language speaking guide) to let you experience our vivid culture image and local life style while visiting the major temples Swayambhunath (Monkey temple), Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath stupa and best of all the majestic historical place Kathmandu durbar square. At the noon, when your tour gets over, we’ll have a pre-trip discussion and the trek discussion with the trek leader along with other team member will meet you and briefs you regarding trek.

Day 3: Drive to Syabru Bensi (1550m/5100ft) 145km, 6 hrs.

Today we take a Drive to our trekking start point Syabru Bensi which takes about Six hours drive by private Jeep. Along the way to Syabru Bensi we can enjoy the Mountains view, Green hill and people lifestyle that live in country side. After a lunch in Trishuli Bazar, we continue drive to Dhunche. From Dhunche, we descent down to Syabrubesi. Overnight night Syabru Bensi, (B, L, D).

Day 4: Trek Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2410m/7832ft) 5- 6 hrs.

After a breakfast we start our trek to Lama Hotel, Crosses through Bhote Koshi River and follow the Langtang Khola. Passing through the dense forests and cross several suspension bridges, the trail goes gradual climb to Bamboo. Having a lunch break in Bamboo we continue our trek. After 450 meters challenging ascend through dense forest we will reach the Lama Hotel. Overnight in teahouse, (B, L, D).

Day 5: Trek Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m/11250ft) 6 hours.

After a morning breakfast we begin out trek through the dense forest along the Langtang Khola. Over six hundred meters ascend we will reach to Ghoda Tabela. The valley is more open and wide, we can see the beautiful view of Mt. Langtang Lirung and green valley with many water falls. We continue our hike Pass by water mills, prayer wheels, chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them. Overnight in Langtang Village, (B, L, D).

Day 6: Trek to Kyanjin Gumba (2845m/12611ft) 3 hours.

Today is a shorter hike and the trail will be easier but Altitude may affect you, slow walk is recommended for acclimatization. Pass on through yak pastures, the largest Mani wall, made from stone with prayers written on them. Walking along the Langtang valley with a scenic view of Himalaya, trek will be more interesting when we reach Kyanjing , the beauty valley with many tiny flowers Where we can find cheese factory, and bakery as well. Overnight in teahouse, (B, L, D).

Day 7: Early morning hike to Kyanjin ri (4773m/15655ft) and trek back to Ghodatabela (3030m/9938ft) 6-7 hours.

Today we wake up early and hike up to Kyanjin- ri to see the aesthetic views of Himalayas and beauty Langtang valley. After a breakfast we start our trek to Ghoda Tabela, the trail mostly gradual down and feel easy to walk. Overnight in Ghoda Tabela, (B, L, D).

Day 8: Trek to Thulo Syabru. 7 hours.

Trek from Ghodatebela to Thulo Syabru (2260m.) which takes about five hours.The beginning of the trail is a gentle descent up to landslide and then goes steeply up to Thulo Syabru. En- route you could see red pandas, monkeys and various species of birds. Thulo Syabru is one of the wonderful villages from where you can enjoy the amazing land feature and the magnificent nature with splendid views of Ganesh Himal (7110m.), Langtang Himal and its ranges. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 8: trek to Sing Gompa, 4 hours.

After a breakfast we start our trek to Sing Gompa (it call Chandan bari as well) 3250m. Today the trek is short, which take about 4 hours but it will be over a hundred meters climb mostly through the pine forest. Along the trek we can see the aesthetic view of Mountains, such as Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal and some other Tibetain Mountains and green hill. Sing gompa is a small town where people specially live to run a business, and where we can visit a small Buddhis monastery and a well manage local cheese factory too. This cheese factory considers the best in Nepal. Overnight in Tea house. (B,L,D)

Day 9: Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda (4361m), 4 hours.

After a 4 hours climb from Sing Gompa we will reach to Gosaikunda (4361m.) via Lauribinayak La (3920m.). The first part of the trail emerges gently ascent up to Lauribinayak. Then, the trail steeply ascends all the way to Gosaikunda. You follow a rugged trail with dramatic views; to the west Himal Chuli (7893m) Manaslu range (8156mm), Ganesh Himal range (7406m), Tibetan peaks and Langtang Lirung. On a clear day, even the Annapurna range can be seen rising up behind and to the north across the valley is Langtang Lirung. You pass a few huts in the high pasture of Laurebinayak, cross a small ridge and have your first views of the holy lakes. There are about a dozen lakes in the Gosainkunda Basin, the main three being Saraswatikunda, Bhairabkunda, and Gosainkunda. According to legend, Gosainkunda was created by Shiva when he pierced a glacier with his trident to obtain water to quench his thirst after having swallowed a poison that threatened to destroy the world. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 10: Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa, 5 hours trek.

Trek from Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa (3250m.) or Chandan Bari (3250m.) takes about four and half hours.The trail descends all the way to Sing Gompa passing Lauribanayak with magnificent mountain views and forests.

Day 11: Sing Gompa to Dhunche 5 hours trek.

Today we hike down to Dhunche (the district headquarter of Rawasua) which takes about six hours. The begging of the trek descend through pine, silver oak and rhododendrons forests with marijuana plants up to you cross suspension bridge over the Sing Gompa Stream. And the path stretches across a flat level to Dhunche. Stay overnight in hotel. Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu

Day 12: Dhunche to Kathmandu.

After five days long trek in Langtang valley, today we drive back to Kathmandu. This takes six hour by private jeep. We end our Adventure with a farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu, include (B, D)

Day 13: Final departure from Nepal.

Today the journey along the Nepalese Himalayas comes to an end. We will arrange airport transports that are leaving Nepal.
